INITIATION TO JEWELLERY COURSE Recently, it has become possible to be initiated to jewellery through courses at the workshop in Estrie. Basic techniques are introduced and allow to produce jewellery such as silver rings, silver earrings with stud… DURATION: 12 hours (The course is given at my workshop in Estrie) ( 2 days from 9am -12am and 1pm -4pm) possibility of taking the courses in the daytime, in the evening or the week-end. PRICE: 300$ / person + material (plan approximately $30 for sterling silver and solder, available at the workshop) FORMATION: learn basic techniques in jewelry: drawing, sawing, filing, soldering and polishing. CREATIONS: Produce a silver ring and silver earrings with stud.
Afterward it is possible to deepen the knowledge in jewelry with other workshops. Either we take one of your idea and I show you how to realize it, either we start with a technique and we use it to create a jewel as unique as you! This course allows you to explore different materials and techniques and to enhance your creativity. FACILITATOR You like jewellery and are creative? You will love our courses/workshops. You will learn to work with different materials (glass beads, silver platted copper wires, coloured metallic wires, etc.) and will familiarize yourself with numerous production techniques. While having fun, you will develop your dexterity and express your fancy through the crafting of fashion jewellery that you will be proud to wear or offer as a gift.
